Christina Bricknell is a Canberra-based furniture designer and maker whose work investigates the potentials and capabilities of a variety of materials.

Christina experiments with the limitations placed on materials and focuses on the synchronicity between the binaries of hard and soft through wood and textiles. Through this she creates playful pieces to bring a light-hearted energy into a space.

Jun Rung is an emerging furniture designer and maker and a recent graduate of the prestigious Sturt School for Wood.

With a love of minimalism, his work incorporates clean lines, gentle curves and simple slim forms that give a sense of lightness to his work. Jun believes in making handcrafted furniture that is both unique and timeless

René Linssen is a South African born, Australian Industrial Designer living and working in Canberra, Australia.

Richilde Flavell

Richilde Flavell is a Canberra-based designer and maker working primarily with ceramics.

Under her label, Girl Nomad Ceramics, Richilde’s work reflects her warm, genuine nature and sensitivity to material, texture and colour. Her debut range is hand-formed and glazed and offers intimate surface details in a collection of whites, greys and toasty auburns.

Jack Balfour

Jack Balfour is an emerging potter and designer producing a range of wheel thrown tableware and decorative pieces in porcelain. As he continues studies in industrial design, the pursuit and development of hand skills has been crucial to his work. With a focus on controlled forms accentuated by beautiful surfaces and subtle patterns. Each individual object is a joyous celebration of making offering a unique experience.

Marie Lefebvre

Marie is a French designer who has lived in Australia since 2014. She studied Applied Art and Design for seven years in France and Belgium before working as a creative in advertising for twelve years across France, Switzerland, Canada and Australia. She then went on to study Furniture Design at RMIT in 2015. Since, she is designing mindful, nature inspired and user friendly furniture and objects.

Max Leishman

This year Max will be graduating from RMIT Industrial Design which will coincide with the first product launch of his new lighting collection Scintilla. Max aims to focus on bringing a highly refined sculptural masculine aesthetic to the market within the furniture and lighting design industry. He now currently works at Darkon Lighting as a Junior Lighting Designer whilst pushing Scintilla out into the public.

Born in Tasmania, Alex has a strong passion for design and living spaces. Ebony Heidenreich is a second-generation ceramicist.  Her practice encompasses functional, wearable and architectural objects. Heidenreich’s paired back approach to design stems from her love of both modernist and ancient architecture and her desire to create objects with a strong material presence. She graduated from UniSA with Honours in 2014 and is currently undertaking the Associate Training Program at JamFactory.

Adrian Lawson

Adrian grew up on the Isle of Colonsay in Scotland.  Island life naturally encouraged upcycling and this ethos has stayed with Adrian throughout his life.  When he immigrated to Australia in 2009 he chose to take his self-taught design into the direction of recycling after taking inspiration from discarded wooden blinds in his local area.  He had previously designed and made furniture in Scotland and exhibited in London.
