A vehicle for promoting and supporting authentic and considered products and contemporary art. The DENFAIR Awards are the touchstone for contemporary design, setting a precedent in the acknowledgement of innovation, inspiration and creativity of local and international designers and brands.

Our awards provide the design community with the opportunity to continue to recognise original and considered design by celebrating todays best and brightest designers.

This year’s awards will be presented in house at the Melbourne Show. The awards are free to attend and all DENFAIR visitors are welcome to enjoy!

The DENFAIR Awards are proudly supported by SMEG Australia.

HAMISH GUTHRIE | PAUL HECKER

As one of the founding directors of Hecker Guthrie, Hamish Guthrie is often considered the taller and quieter of the pair. His calm demeanour lends itself to a considered approach to design which has resulted in a strong portfolio of much publicised and well awarded projects in the hospitality, retail, commercial and residential sectors.

Paul Hecker is the other founding Directors of Hecker Guthrie and his enthusiasm for design and how people interact with interior spaces has only strengthened over his 20 plus years in the industry. Within the studio, Paul is a sound voice and worthy commentator on not just design, but life, fashion, politics and film.
